Should Children Be Banned From Having Cell Phones?

I reckon that children shouldn’t have a cell phone. I’ve got numerous reasons to convince your brain to think like mine!

My first reason of not having a cell phone is that the internet is easily hacked or accessible by children under the age of eighteen, when they are connected they can be very irresponsible by going on facebook, posting inappropriate pictures, and going on violated websites.

My second reason is that it could cause distraction from chores, school, doing what you're supposed to do, even when walking across the road that child could possibly get run over by a car or could get seriously injured . With the children always being on their cell phones it could cause sicknesses or diseases to their eyes.

Thirdly, children should never get a cell phone until the age of eighteen. When children have a cell phone it could cause cyber bullying by texting, calling, skyping, video chatting, and meeting up. If the child meets up with someone way older than them it could cause child abduction.

Lastly, the prices of phones, children don’t really like button phones they would rather buy the more sophisticated high quality phones that are really expensive. Some parents can’t afford phones like that and some parents think those phones are very fragile, with a child having a delicate cell phone the phone could possibly break.

I hope my reasons have convinced you to think like me. Whether or not you think we should or shouldn’t have cell phones, nothing would convince me to change my mind into thinking children should have cell phones. Period.
